We, the GOSPEL OF LOVE MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER COMMUNITY believe in the sanctity of marriage and the role of Christ-centered families in God’s eternal plan of salvation.

It was in 1998 when a select group of couples from Valenzuela City, Metro Manila decided to regroup and name themselves as “Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish Marriage Encounter (M.E.) Community,” a parish-based organization. They held their first M.E. weekend seminar at the Paradise Resort in Malolos, Bulacan using the FIRES Module created by Rev. Fr. Dars Cabral for the Diocese of Malolos. Then in the year 2000, Fr. Dars introduced to us the name GOSPEL OF LOVE (GOL). Not long after, the community decided to call themselves the GOSPEL OF LOVE M.E. COMMUNITY.

Leapfrogging through the years, the present GOL now stands, by the grace of God Almighty, as a strong pillar in the church and in the community. Led by a Chair Couple and their Executive Officers consisting of the Vice-Chairman and the Chairpersons of the various committees, they implement the policies and decisions laid down by a 16-member Board of Trustees. The various committees consist of the following: Organization, Youth, Formation, Finance, Liturgy, Service, and Mass Media. Aside from the annual M.E. Weekend Seminar, these committees spearhead the launching of various projects like scholarship programs, disaster relief projects for calamity-stricken victims, and assistance to marginalized sectors such as orphans, prisoners, or senior citizens,

Because of the rapid increase in membership, GOL ensures that its members remain intact by strengthening the individual batches through regular batch reunions as well as the continuous training of Follow-up Couples whose duty is to ensure the strength and cohesiveness of their respectively assigned batches.
Always trying to live up to its name as the GOSPEL OF LOVE is never an easy task. Still the Gospel of Love M.E. Community shall always endeavor to serve as a channel of God’s Love and Mercy by building Christ-centered families closely bound together by a deep faith in God Almighty.

GOL Family Activities and Community Service

The GOL Family Activities and Community Service program is dedicated to fostering strong family bonds and cultivating a sense of community through meaningful, impactful experiences.
